Compensation and Benefits for Aflac New York Sales Agents*
While our sales agents are independent contractors, they are by no means on their own. In addition to our compensation and benefits packages, Aflac New York provides a wide variety of tools, training, and collateral materials to support our agents
Aflac New York sales agents enjoy these benefits:
- First-year commissions are paid in advance during the first policy year or as you earn them.
- Renewal commissions are paid beginning the second policy year in accordance with the terms of your agreement.
- Aflac New York's stock bonus program allows career agents to participate in the company's growth, profitability, and success as a stockholder.
- Aflac New York's Associate Bonus Club (ABC) rewards agents for recruiting new members to the field force.
- Aflac New York agents have the opportunity to join the National Association of Professional Agents (NAPA).
Compensation and Benefits for Aflac New York Sales Agents*
In addition to commissions and Aflac New York's associate stock bonus program, there are a number of special recognitions and awards available to agents to help motivate them to achieve and exceed production goals. Rewards include cash bonuses, prizes, and trips.
First-Year and Renewal Commissions
First-year commissions are awarded for each policy sold by our sales agents. First-year commissions can be paid in advance or as earned. Renewal commissions are awarded for each policy renewed.
Stock Bonus Program
Our stock bonus plan lets all career agents share in Aflac New York's success, and no contribution is required from sales agents participating in the program. Aflac New York agents are automatic participants beginning with the first month of service; bonuses are paid when a policyholder pays the thirteenth month's premium and will be calculated as a percentage of annualized premium. Dividends can be reinvested in Aflac New York stock [AFL] or paid directly to agents.
